This is mostly a a rough exploration of a mermaid character I’ve had in mind, but also with a bit of her initial human companion’s design. I played around with mostly the mermaid though because I had a decent idea of what I wanted her to look like. I played around with her fin, first going with a solid color but then deciding that I think a multicolored fin fit her eccentric personality a lot more.
